What types of wax do you use?

We use two types of waxes - Soy and Palm wax.

Soy Wax – for all our Container Candles.

Palm Wax - for our Pillar Candle Range.

The Palm Wax we use is:

100% palm oil based, natural and environmentally friendly. The product we use is sourced from certified suppliers to ensure our support for the environment.  The suppliers are part of the Roundtable Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and this organisation is committed to responsible and sustainable use of natural resources.  All raw materials are procured from sustainable plantations.

During solidification, palm wax forms an amazing pattern of crystal structures. It is one of the hardest natural waxes, meaning it is ideal for free-standing pillar candles, ships well in all climates and tolerates a high fragrance load to enhance your scent throw.

These candles are unique (unlike soy pillar candles) and fun to watch. The pillars burn down the centre of the candle inside down leaving a decorative outside wall that light shines through creating a lantern affect. This wall should be trimmed if it gets too thin.

My order was received damaged, what can I do?

As much as we do all that we can to ensure that your orders are packaged away nice and snug, ready for their trip from us to you, it is an unfortunate consequence of shipping fragile items that sometimes breakages can occur.

What do I do if there is something wrong with my order?

Can I cancel my order if I decide I longer want it?

We do not offer refunds for ‘change of mind’ purchases and/or Custom Products (such as Personalised Giftware or Special Orders).

I have received my order and the colour appears to differ from your website?

In all our handmade candles and giftware products the actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently.

We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual colour may vary slightly from your monitor. We cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product.

Our candle products are all hand poured in our premises, they are not mass produced.  Steps are taken to ensure consistency but every candle will be different.

When purchasing our soy candles, sometimes you may notice darkening of the soy or wet spots in your container candles.  This is normal and not a fault.  It does not affect the candle in any way.

Do you offer custom orders for your candle products?

If you have a preference for a preferred fragrance (listed in our fragrance menu) that is currently not listed in our available stock, please send us an email enquiry and we shall try to accommodate you as best we can.
